I think that this poster, for the upcoming movie Split, with Kevin behind  shattered glass, conveys the core of the story in a both smart and simplistic way. In the middle of the story we find Kevin, portrayed by James McAvoy, a man with a severe personal disorder, with 23 personalities residing inside him. When Kevin abducts three teenage girls, a 24^th personality – “The Beast” – awakes.

I guess there’s more to it than that, and since it’s M. Night Shyamalan who has both penned and directed it, I assume that there is a mind-bending twist lurking somewhere.

Take a gander below and see what you think about the Split poster. Split will head up on the big screen on January 20, but it has already gotten a favorable buzz around it since it was screened at a couple film festivals this autumn.

Digging through the movies that are currently listed as pre-production today, I came across an interesting title – Chucky 7 – rumored to be both penned and directed by Don Mancini himself. Another rumor about the movie is that Fiona Dourif will return to the franchise and reprising her role from Curse of Chucky, something that seems rather legit according to this photo, which was published on twitter, not that long ago.

Jennifer Tilly is also said to be back, lending her voice to Chucky’s former wife Tiffany, as she did in Bride of Chucky back in 1996.

The plot in Chucky 7 seems to revolve around revenge, as Chucky, with the help from Tiffany, is out to get even with his enemies from the past. Also it doesn’t seem that Chucky will loosen his grip around Nica either.

Even though the above is thrilling, rumors about the development of Chucky 7 has been circulating for some years now, but maybe Don Mancini will pull the strings and breathe some life into our favorite killer doll, Chucky.
