This weekend Peter Jackson posted an exclusive Comic Con poster for the first part of the highly awaited Hobbit movies, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, on his Facebook page. He also revealed that you could get your own copy of it at this year’s Comic Con, which starts this week on July 12.
The poster, presenting Gandalf walking along an overgrown trail in Hobbiton, with the sun breaking through the clouds in the background, conveys a soft, yet powerful atmosphere. I think it’s a beautiful poster, which is able to build up some anticipation the more you look at it.
The Comic Con Poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected JourneyThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will have its world premiere on November 28 in New Zealand, after it will hit the theaters in USA on December 14. After that, we’ll have to wait a year for the final part, which will land around December 13, 2013.
