From the beginning, Steven C. Miller’s horror flick Scream of the Banshee was thought to be released as part of the After Dark Originals series, something that didn’t happen. The reason, according to the buzz, was that the movie needed some finishing touches, which prevented it to be ready in time.
However, you’ll still be able to see the movie, if you tune in to Syfy on March 26, at 9PM (ET/PT), as the channel will celebrate its bi-weekly assault on humanity, with Scream of the Banshee, which also is their 200th Saturday Original Movie, as well.
Scream of the Banshee, which is based on the Irish folklore that says if you hear the bone-splitting scream of a banshee, you’ll soon die, something that the college professor in the movie, which happens to unleash a banshee, will experience – the violent and unpleasant way.
I think that the movie, which includes Lance Henriksen, Lauren Holly and Kim Ormiston in the cast, sounds like it could be a titillating piece and I will undoubtedly try to catch it. Also, don’t forget to check out the hot Scream of the Banshee poster here, before you leave.
