Trick of the Witch To Make Theatrical Debut

Chris Morrissey’s supernatural thriller Trick of the Witch, which snatched both Winner of Best Horror Film and the Audience Favorite Award at the 2010 New York International Independent Film Festival, is headed for a theatrical debut in March.

The movie, which has been compared to Rocky Horror Picture Show, will be screened at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theaters in West Hollywood, on March 4 and 5, before a more expanded release will follow on March 25 at Vine Theater in Hollywood, coming to New York and other cities after that.

The story in Trick of the Witch revolves around a group of fashion models, who are stranded at a deserted mansion during a photo shoot, where they are forced to confront an evil witchcraft curse. Share Cherrie, Shay Alexis, Owen Alabado, Renae Boult, Micah Mora and Christelle Harris stars in it.

A sequel is already in the works, a project that is slated to take off right after Chris Morrissey has finished his next movie, the comedy Hollywood Reject. He also says that he is surely looking forward to jump back into the world of Trick of the Witch real soon, so it might not be that long before we can see the next part of Trick of the Witch.
