I think that the poster for Steven C. Miller’s Scream of the Banshee, featuring a woman dressed in just a red cape, looks titillating. The movie is one of the eight movies included in After Dark Originals, which will storm into selected theaters on January 28.
Scream of the Banshee, revolves around the Irish lore, which says that if you hear a Banshee scream, you will die. One day the college professor Whelan (Lauren Holly) stumbles upon a strange decorated box, in the basement of the university, and as she opens it, a horrifying scream bashing against their eardrums. They don’t think much about it, until the bloodthirsty banshee starts taking the student’s life, one by one . . .
In the role of the murderous Banshee, we see Kim Ormiston, who had a small role in Meet the Spartans, as a Hooters Girl.
