In Israel horror fans are excited over Aharon Keshlers and Navot Papushado’s slasher movie Rabies (Kalevet), calling it a magnificent twist of the slasher genre with beautiful cinematography.
In the movie a brother and his sister seek refuge in an abandoned nature reserve, after they had run away from home. Their situation takes a turn for the worse as the sister gets taken by psychopathic killer, forcing the brother to find help, before it’s to late. In his attempt to recuse his sister, a group of tennis players, a ranger and couple of policemen, are also dragged into the lethal situation, as well.
The film was made in Israel, Tel Aviv and stars Yael Grobglas, Lior Ashkenazi, Ania Bukstein and Ofer Shechter.
Although I have not the slightest idea of what they say in the trailer below, it does look suspenseful and skillfully made, and I wouldn’t mind seeing a subbed version of it actually.
Check out the trailer and the poster below and give us your thoughts about this one.
