Here we have a couple of fierce stills, from the upcoming vampire flick The Bleeding. The rather atypical cast of Bleeding consists of Michael Madsen, Vinnie Jones, Michael Matthias, Rachelle Leah plus Kat Von D from the reality show L.A. Ink.
The Bleeding tells the story of Shawn Black (Matthias), a man who saw his parents and brother being slain by a gang of ruthless vampires, lead by Cain (Jones) and Vanya (Kat Von D). As Black sets out to avenge the death of his family, he meets Reverend Roy (Madsen), who reveals Shawn’s true calling as a slayer and the only one who can destroy the vampires.
I think that The Bleeding reminds me very much of Blade, in which Wesley Snipes turned vampires into piles’ ash with his swords and cool weapons. Also, judging by the stills below, it seems that The Bleeding is trying to adopt that same “rock and roll” atmosphere.
Since a fourth Blade movie doesn’t seem to come along anytime soon, I really hope that The Bleeding can fill that void, as it will come out on DVD on March 1 next year, or what do you think?
