Today we heard that Electronic Arts and Anchor Bay Entertainment will releasing their animated horror movie Dead Space: Aftermath, on January 25 to coincide with the release of its tie-in video game, Dead Space 2.
An interesting thing about Dead Space: Aftermath is that it’s said to feature several famous animation directors, which each used their own unique techniques and styles to depict their part of the story. In the trailer below, you can see that the styles in the scenes differ a bit.
The story is told in the perspective of the four survivors, from the rescue team sent out to search for Isaac Clarke the USG Ishimura, depicting their frightening and bloody experiences, buried deep in their minds.
The voice overs are made by a seasoned Sci-fi cast consisting of Christopher Judge (Stargate: SG-1), Peter Woodward (Babylon 5) and Gwendoline Yeo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
The release of Dead Space: Aftermath will be preceded by an appetizer, a pre-book, which will hit the shelves later this month, on December 29. The following month, on January 25, this presumed thrill ride can be yours on Blu-ray or DVD for about $30.
