The Trailer for Battle: Los Angeles has arrived

At last we got a trailer for the eagerly anticipated alien invasion movie Battle: Los Angeles that provides a glimpse of Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) and Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), fighting of an alien invasion in Los Angeles.

Battle: Los Angeles, which was mainly filmed in Louisiana last year, is a sci-fi action movie that has been called a mix between Black Hawk Down and Independence Day and is inspired by the Battle of Los Angeles incident, which took place over Los Angeles in February, 1942.

It has been said to be an intense real-time war movie, depicted from the perspective of the Marines and Eckhart has said that they have manage to create an urban combat alien movie, which has never been seen before, something I guess we have to see for ourselves, before we believe it.

However, I really look forward to see Michelle Rodriguez dressed up as a badass marine again, since I thought that she was the only one who really stood out in James Cameron’s Avatar and hopefully she’ll do a great job this time around.

The one behind the camera was Jonathan Liebesman, who directed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and is rumored to helm the forthcoming Clash of the Titans 2, as well.

Even though the trailer isn’t that special, with some action sequences mixed with news footage of the alien attack, I do think that they really have used the music in a really effective way, which kind of draws you into it.

Have a look for yourself below and see if it’s something that you’ll catch on March 11, next year.
