It all started with, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and since then Harry Potter has grown into a epic saga, which has lasted for almost a decade and become one of the highest grossing film series of all times.
However, soon it’s time for the sympathetic young wizard to wave his magic wand for the last time, as the story now embarks on the homestretch, starting with Deathly Hallows part 1 on November 19, and ends with its final piece, in part 2 next summer on July 15, 2011.
In Deathly Hallows Harry, Ron and Hermione sets out to finishing Lord Voldemort once and for all, by finding and destroying the Horcruxes, which is the secret to Voldemort’s immortality. As they embark on their journey they’ll be forced to overcome many difficulties like Death Eaters, Snatchers, and the mysterious Deathly Hallows all while the connection between Harry and the Dark Lord’s mind grows stronger.
Below you’ll find the small teaser clip that Warner Bros. released yesterday, featuring Harry and Ron in a dramatic argument on a field somewhere.
What about you, are you glad that the Harry Potter saga has come to an end or do you wish for even more Harry Potter movies in the future?
Okay here’s my view:
I love Harry Potter with my heart and soul (I even have a HP tattoo), but it would be simply terrible if they stretched the series longer. I mean, there’s such a fondness for all of the characters and how angry would all of the die-hard book fans be if they kept making movies after the books ended? It would be a shame to see them integrate new characters in. I do however think it would be neat if Rowling would give the world something new to feast on… with the possibility of more movies.
Although she does have quite a role to fill.. the Harry Potter series is without question one of the absolute most successful series of books of our time.
Philosopher’s stone btw? Is this a joke I’m not catching?

It would be better if film makers had done one part movie not in two.

Personally, as a hardcore HP fan, I’m partial to the 2-part telling. I mean clearly they have their fiscal benefits from this, but for fans this book was so large and impacting that 2 parts was really necessary. I loved the first one. There was the scene with Ron killing the Horcrux that was a tid-bit awkward and adult for the story… but good nonetheless.
