It’s been a while since I wrote anything about Twilight saga, so here you have a few stills from David Slade’s, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”, which will probably rock the box office and cause some minor hysteria, as it hits the theaters later this month, on June 30.
In Eclipse, the saga continues from the previous movie. Bella has to decide what’s more important to her, the love for Edward or the friendship with Jacob. A decision that might be the spark that ignites the struggle between the vampire and the werewolf. In the meantime Seattle is despoiled by a series of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire is out to seek revenge.
Even though the plot sounds intriguing, I foremost look forward to see Jodelle Ferland, as the newborn vampire Bree Tanner. I think that Bree is a character role that will fit Ferland really well and it’ll be interesting to see what she can do with it.
Also, if you want to dig deeper into the life of Bree Tanner, Stephenie Meyer has released a short novel titled, “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella”, written from the viewpoint of Bree. Meyer also let David Slade and the screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg read it, during production of Eclipse, so it will be interesting to see how much room they have given Bree, in Eclipse.
You can buy, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella (Twilight Saga) at Amazon for about $7.
Nevertheless, I think Ferland portrays a vampire very well, as you can see in the picture below, or what do you think?

Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), having a chat outside.

A vampire meeting with Emmett Cullen (Kellan Lutz), Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli), Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone), Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).

Honestly, I did not like the first installment (twilight). surprisingly though, I still looked forward the second installment (new moon) despite my disappointment on the first. Since I love the second, I am now excited to see the third installment. I also discovered this site that tackles the Twilight saga:
