A fresh sneak peek of Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables” has turned up on the net. In this short, but action-packed preview, we get a short glimpse of every thick-skinned bruiser that stars in the movie like, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke, Steve Austin, Randy Couture and Bruce Willis, rumble around to the tones of “The Boys Are Back in Town”.
The plot, which revolves around a team of mercenaries that are hired to overthrow a dictator in a country somewhere in South America, sounds flat and like it could have been taken from any random B-flick action out there.
Nevertheless, with this kind of line-up I guess the story isn’t all that important, either. What’s more important, is that it will be overloaded with blazing explosions, cool fighting scenes and witty remarks. Then, even though it might not be the action movie of all times, it could still turn out to be a really damn nice popcorn flick, nonetheless.
