New Zombieland Trailer

With barely two weeks before its premiere, a new trailer for the American Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland has come out.

This new trailer, called the “Greenband Trailer”, is the ripest that I have seen so far and gives us some insight of the characteristic of Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), together with a couple of new ones.

It also gives us a couple of new wicked zombies, as a ravaging zombie chick, in a yellow bikini, as well as rather cocky one, that gives Columbus the tongue, in a bathroom.

The filmmakers states that they got their inspiration from the other zombie comedy, Shaun of the Dead, but I’m guessing that they also got a bit of inspiration from the kick-ass video game, Dead Rising, as well. Since many of the features from the game are present in the movie too, like the chainsaws, bowling balls, as well as the zombies, like the clown and the fat dude in the grocery store.

Nevertheless, judging by some early reviews of Zombieland, it seems that the movie will give us a jolly zombie ride when it hit the theaters on October 2!
