Dean off To Fight Zombies

There is a rumor going around that Jensen Ackles will have a part in the upcoming Resident Evil sequel, Resident Evil: Afterlife, set to open on August 27, 2010.

According to the rumor, Ackles will be portraying the role as the floppy-haired, hunky police officer Leon S Kennedy, who appeared in the video games 2 and 4, and in the animated version, Degeneration.

However, Ackles denied, in an interview this summer, that he anyone would have asked him to participate in the upcoming movie.

Nevertheless, as many fans has Ackles on top of their wish list, plus the fact that Supernatural might end with this season, chances are that we will see him fight off a zombie or two, after all.

— Spoiler Alert —

However, we don’t have to wait that long to see Dean going head to head with a whole bunch of zombies, if we’re going to believe an article posted at TV Overmind.

In episode 4, Dean have been transferred 5 years into the future, after he rejected a proposal from Sam, that they should fight the Apocalypse together, as in the old days.

Dean then awakes in a city, populated by humans, infected with a demon virus, turning them into flesh hungering zombies, which is the result of Dean’s reluctant to help with the fight against Lucifer.

If this is true, then episode 4 will give us a double dose of Dean, as he teams up with his future self, in the zombie town. Something that I, as Dean fan, look forward to!
